How can I send automatic confirmations through the webform?

Administrators with the correct privileges can set a custom message to go to anyone who submits a response through a webform.

Step 1: Go to the E-mails section of the webform

From the Webform tab (1), click the E-mails button (2) and choose Component Value (3), making sure to choose the component for the submitter's e-mail. This ensures that the automatic message will go to the address the user enters into that field. Click Add (4) to go to the Edit E-mail Settings page.

Step 2: Fill out the E-mail Header Details

Set the e-mail subject (1), from address (2) and from name (3) in the E-mail Header Details area. You can choose to customize each section if you want to change the default settings.

Step 3: Create a message in the E-mail Template

Choose Custom Template from the drop-down (1) and write your custom message in the text block below (2). You can preserve formatting by choosing "Send e-mail as HTML" (3). Click "Save e-mail settings" (4) to save your changes.
